I'm not sure what those flowers are when I bought them there was no tag and there was some white flowers with them only yellow one's now. No bakon on that sammich wanted the full tomato flavor. These flowers we're on my back porch moved them to a window sill . Secured them with bungee cords so they won't blow off. It's happened before.![]()

So glad you did post!
What an elegant blending of summer annuals and time honoured plantings. I see how meaningful your living garden is to you. It truly shows.
Here's a shot of a quiet corner of the yard. I started planting the tall blue grass over a year ago to control the slope. It grows tight enough to block out weeds which is a major win for me. Planted another 50+ plants this spring after intensive weed removal, so next year it should be really nice. The tall straight plants are tree lily's. They get over 6' tall and have spectacular flowers that get up to 8" in diameter. In the second pic you can see how the flowers bend the smaller stalks over. When they lay down on the lavender the bees get very happy.

Who are you calling a pansy!?[emoji12]You pansies look real healthy. Wish I could keep them going in the hot summer here. I really like them and such variety of colors.
You making a teepee shelter or what?
Added: Got a Burgess Seed catalog today in the mail. Brings back old times. As a kid, I loved to pour through all the seed catalogs looking at stuff. There weren't many retail plant nurseries around like these days. Plus as a kid, I couldn't drive anyway. Anyway they have the blue grass and it's called Non Fade Powder Blue Festuca. May have to order some since I have never seen it in a nursery.

You know, that blue grass looks like it could animate and scuttle over to me for a pet! Very impactful ground cover ... and no weeds
Flight crew update, feathers. Mum is always clucking at me from one tree perch or another.

The scarlet runner beans are finally seeking support to climb on, so I set pole tripod for them. Notice the willow fencing in front. The dogs love green beans and will tear down the vines to get at them - third favourite dog snack in line after berries and tomatoes. The first batch of seeds I planted simply rotted in the ground with the cold, wet spring. Second planting looks promising though. The pole beans are also planted in the containers under the shop window lattice - to provide shade later in summer when it is needed most.

Playing with a delightful old plant in a new way. Usually I grow the thunbergia (black eyed susan) in a container where they climb up. This year, I am letting them trail and just love the natural look.

Wow. You gardeners posting here are impressive!
Always have been most fond of the pastel colors in pansies with some bright yellow tossed in. Love those blue ones, but I like them all!
I didn't mean to call you all pansies.Funny what proof reading posts sometimes turns up.
Flight Crew update - we have LIFT OFF!
Last little guy, probably calling "Mum, where the heck are you?"

I was very lucky to get even this low quality pic of the last nestling. He flew just as the shutter closed!

Yes, my yard is back. But a little ... less.
