2015 KITH - Official Thread

I'm basically done just need to sharpen it and put a few finishing touches, and take a picture of it.

Unfortunately I am out. My knife woke up this morning with a mild to moderate case of gapitis.🙁
 
The 2015 KITH is now closed. The list below is the final list. I will generate a random match list and send all these people their shipping labels and recipient info. Please pack the knife well and put in a note about the knife and anything special the recipient should know. Ship it insured for $100 or whatever you deem proper (USPS priority is best method for USA makers). Send it off ASAP this week and send me the tracking number. Details will be in your label info.

James Terrio made a single post that he had a knife done and was "in", but never sent his info or posted an "I'm Ready", so he is not on this list unless he contacts me by noon today. I tried several times to contact him with no luck. Sorry James.

I'm in, info sent. Need to take pics and etch the logo... I was hoping to have my new stencils in but that doesn't look like it's going to happen in time... so this will be one of the very last with my "old" maker's mark...
 

OK, the shipping labels are going out today. Here is what you do next:

When you get the shipping info for your KITH recipient, send the securely boxed knife to him as soon as possible. Make the label bold and clear. Get a tracking number. Insurance for $100-200 is wise.

If you have a recipient outside of your country, check with the postal authorities as to what forms need to be filled out. Declare the knife as a camping knife or kitchen knife, as best fits the use. List the value at $100 and declare it as a gift.

For those shipping from the USA, USPS Priority Mail boxes are best. Get a tracking number.

Once the package is shipped, email me (sapelt@cox.net) the tracking number and when it was shipped.

When you receive your KITH knife, email me that it arrived and post in the “Woo-Hoo, My KITH knife arrived” thread.
