2015 Seattle Show Knife Thread: Makers- what are you bringing?

We're getting closer. Anybody getting anything finished lately?

I was gonna bring this, but it already found a new home. :) Maybe I have time to work in something similar.

W2 and black/olive g-10.

That's a good looking folder John.

I have the Eugene show this weekend, and then I hope to do a couple more kitchen knives for the show.

^I am so excited to see this piece!

I got this finished up and will have it at Seattle...............maybe. I have a hard time hanging on to these lately. ;) :D

We'll have the Ladysmith Collaboration knife on our table! Great time to check it out in person, this will be the first time it's been displayed in the US. Grace Horne took it to the Paris show just after it was finished, last stop will be BLADE show. If you haven't heard the story on this knife yet check out the thread posted earlier.

I believe we will have it on display @ the CKCA Banquet as well, for anyone attending our banquet and would like to see it.

I'll have these along with a few others:

Wow, beautiful work all!

I'm really excited to see the ladysmith blade. Read the article in Blade magazine.

I have to say, this thread is very intimidating; I'm just starting out in knife making and works like these seem way beyond anything I will ever be able to make...

Great photos guys. Thanks for posting them.

Haley- both of those are sweet but that gyuto is incredible! Killer wood on that and the steel is very cool. Will definitely be checking those out.

Thanks guys! Really looking forward to seeing everyone's work. John I don't know if you've played with the high relief carving yet but I was going to bring one of the scraping tools I was trying to describe so you could see it. I also need a refresher on how you're getting those gorgeous grooves around the pommels so perfect. See you guys in a week!
