2015 Shot Show Limited Edition

The also have a bunch of new models listed in the coming soon section, no pictures. Carbon fiber 484, 485 Valet, 808 Loco to name a few.

Nice knife, just too bad they didn't use a higher end steel on it.

I want to see cool new stuff from Benchmade

Loco looks interesting, the valet sounds like a smaller knife in M390....

This could be good.

This is what the 808 Loco looks like but no specs yet on the BladeHQ site. It certainly is different! The blade shape looks similar to the 950 Rift.

Depending on the scales and blade materials I might have found a new knife

I will have to see some better pics of the 808 and learn more about it but just these first pics give me a real Kershaw Thistle vibe. I'm digging the 665 and Nakamura CF though.

^^^I thought the 808 looked a lot more ZT than BM.
Is the 485 a mini Nakamura 484? Or a mini Emissary? I wonder

That is the first thought that crossed my mind too. That 0770 is a popular little slicer.

I just looked at those. It is a nice knife. I think I like the earlier versions that used two different scale materials a little better though. It gives it a little contrast.

I agree. I own one of the full sized ones. It's a beast of a folder and I love everything about it. I went on the hunt for one of these LE models today, I saw one store had them for $200 which was reasonable, then a $50 increase from that on another. Oddly enough the more expensive place still had most of the allocation in stock. At that price,I will pass no thanks.

I got a email and someone has new mini rukus's in stock with green G-10. If anyone wants to know where pm me. There is only 32 of them. image.jpgimage.jpg

The mini Rukus is a great knife -- and not very mini. But it seems odd that Benchmade ran a 2015 Shot Show mini Rukus in S30V, right after releasing a limited edition (300 knives) mini Rukus, also in S30V. It would have been nice to offer the mini Rukus in a new steel, such as M390, M4, V4E or Elmax.

I agree but as is it's already $199.00 at BladeHQ and a silly $249.95 at KSF! At a 1,000 pieces produced it's not exactly that limited either.

Consider the KnifeWorks exclusive 710-1401 with M390 and sculptured Black and Blue G-10 goes for just $179.95!!!

I like my Benchmades, but I've never found a logical method to their madness (read as way of announcing, producing, discontinuing, or releasing stuff). It's like a couple other manufacturers where it's all just a wild guess as to what will be produced and when. But hey, if it works for them good, it doesn't seem to work well for many customers though.

That's some serious truth right there!
