2016 forum knife ordering thread - SOLD OUT

It was significant that the 2016 Blade Forums knife introduced a new pattern that will hopefully be expanded upon. It would be an honor if the 2017 BF knife was also a brand new pattern and this became a tradition.

.... and also the 2014. PPP etch on the 77 frame!

And the 2013!

So let me be the first to say it:
PunchNut! (that's a peanut with a punch secondary)

But I suppose we just had a punch on a forum knife, so let's mull this over for a few months. Let everyone get used to their Drovers, until the idea of a knife without the handy punch is unthinkable. :D

The 2017 Bladeforums knife is one of the things I most look forward to this year. Thanks to all those that make it possible.

All sold! Thank you everyone, and watch out for that punch blade!!! :):):):)
sharp lil' sucker

Now, what shall we do about a 2017 model?:confused::confused::rolleyes:

Well I'm glad that you were the one to bring it up this time Barry. I got a bit of flack with my precipitous thread last year. ;)

But in seriousness, I hope there is a 2017 knife, and I thank you and Charlie, and everyone else who made this one happen.

I'm also glad to see they all sold out. Especially since I squawked about worrying that the knives might get sold out before I had a chance to buy one... :foot: I feel like I did my share of placing feet in mouth, but I am very thankful for the forum knife.

And like others have suggested, I also like the scout idea. I like scout knives, and I would love to have a really good quality scout knife.

But my ideal would be a whaler/elephant's toenail/sunfish or a sailor's knife with a spike...
Hey, a boy can dream.

I would like to see this knife with a full Wharncliffe secondary.

It's an amazing knife!

Didn't think I'd have any use for the punch. Wrong. Best splitter remover ever! Made use of it twice, once mine once my son.

It comes in handy, I always used the one on my Alox Farmer and my Case Scout/Utility for everything from untyin' knots to punchin' holes in sheetrock for plastic anchors or for startin' or reamin' holes in sheetmetal.

The more you carry it, the more uses you'll find:

True dat... ;) :)

All sold! Thank you everyone, and watch out for that punch blade!!! :):):):)

Thanks Barry, to all you great folks of the porch who give so much of your valuable time for the sake of an annual Traditional BF knife, you have my appreciation and unwavering support for every additional Traditional annual knife in the future too, no matter what the pattern.

Scout, scout, scout, scout. ;) :) :) BTW, the punch has yet to bite me, I'm knocking on wood as we speak. ;)

I've been enjoying mine. Pulled a bunch of splinters and really love the old school feel. I'm in for a scout this year. Let's make this happen.
