bacon shakes are what you get when you don't get enough bacon
 
Had bacon jam last night. Bacon jam quesodilla. yup.
 
Are there any 'indoor' or tent-not-needed accommodations at this 'lodge'? Howzat work? The website is rather sparse on real info, as is google images.

Kinda....there aren't any bunks, but there's a big open floor and a generous, wraparound, roofed porch. I slept inside the first night, until I could get my hammock set up. There are also two bathrooms, each with showers and also a kitchen if the weather's not cooperative. Pretty cush....but still fun. I think there are some pics still around from the Spring Gathering. You can DIY forum-fu.....'cause I know you know how ;).

Is the $25/$100 donation listed on the website per party or per person?

as last year, the porch was claimed super fast by our local organizers. almost enough trees for hammock. nothing really flat for tent except that area too. that area is also near public hiking trails, so keep everything in the cabin or your car.

when I bought my truck, it was on display on the showroom floor with a special in-the-bed tent accessory, which I said I didn't need. :-/
 
Hopefully I can swing the grilling cheese this time. Last time it disappeared from store shelves just in time for the gathering. It doesn't keep like a hard cheese, so buying it well in advance doesn't work - trust me, I tried that months ago...

Will attempt cheese, nuts, other cold snacks.
I might bring some frozen meat, but let's not plan on it.

We will bring food. I suspect Fajita stuff, but if the meals are covered then snacks and drinks.

It will just be me and my daughter, I can bring bubba burgers and dogs again if that works or whatever else we need. We'll be in the hammocks as usual
 
How early do we have the space ? I am off Friday and might could come up Thursday night if people will be there. If not I will be up Friday morning.
 
The boy and I are in! Got final approval from the boss, oh and from work too :)

I should be able to bring a meal, dunno what yet though. Hammocking for sure :)
