As promised... I want to give a HUGE thanks first to Ethan Becker for his generosity in sending knives to us! many of fun mods will result from these! :D and second to Trailbum for hosting the gathering every year! Its always well put together and wicked fun! It was awesome to see all of you again! I have many pictures ,that I have been meaning to post up, that will be up shortly! probably going to have to create a separate thread for all of them as to not bog this one down XD

It was awesome, thanks Jason!!!

Home safe and dry. Thank you to all the people who wrangles this shindig, and thank you to everyone who came. Loved getting to meet Daizee, and other Becker crew ! Always a pleasure to eat and play and shoot the breeze with a great group of people.

suh weet. very tiring day for me, but very worth it. good people, good food (thanks to the chefs), good dog, faerie cabins, archery, and rolling good times.

i was very very very very tired when i got home. whoa.

slow day here. zzz :D

A very big thanks to trailbum and his family, who ALWAYS bring it with the desserts and extras. Such a seriously great group of friends. Man thanks also to the Uncle E. for being the sun to our little solar system and to the good folks at Ka-Bar for their generosity. And one more thank you to AlwaysOutdoors for the firesteel prizes....I am looking forward to letting my inner pyromaniac run loose with mine. Good to be home, but also a little bit of a bummer, too.....

Another year, another awesome gathering. Big thanks to Jason and family for putting on an amazing event, Mr. Becker for the sweet knives, and Jeremy for being an excuse to eat birthday cake :)

I'll have pictures up soon whenever the photo thread pops up, however I was so busy enjoying myself I barely took any. Here is hoping I can make the spring gathering next year!

What a great weekend.
First off thank you to Ethan and Kabar for making this happen, you are the best.
Thank you to everyone who helps puts this together from my family to my wonderful friends on this forum.
The weather held off for the most part.
The food was great.
The contests were fun.
Lots of knives to check out and drool on.
Archery and beer can sniping.
What a great weekend.

Amanda, Becker and I made it home last night. We had a great time with old friends. I will post photos that we took later but here are some highlights.

Kids practicing skills and learning new ones.

Trying my hand at a trad bow.

Food food and more FOOD!

Lots of dead beer cans.

Sleeping like a baby in my hammock in the rain.

Jeremy

Dont forget buried treasure from the Kabar box of goodies Dres. Solid tang 2 with no pommel is a pretty sweet score, especially on your birthday. Happy Birthday again by the way!

Like everyone has said, thanks to Ethan for these great knives and kbar for making it possible, trailbum for his genorosity and chats. My highlight was enlightening a few on a new "how to" and laughing until it hurt. Oh and maybe eating until it hurt, holy cow the food

Yes, a big THANK YOU to Ka-Bar and Ethan for continuing to supply prizes!

Indeed, the steady supply of food (and especially the hot dogs) was greatly appreciated!

Since I had many of my Rhode Island Beckers with me, and ended up in the Berkshires near my other stash, here's a picture of MOST of my big Beckers in one frame (BK-10, second BK-5, and BK-4 notably absent at home in RI):

Oh look, the 7 snuck in between the two pictures:
