2017 Spydercos are killin' it!

Looks like I may be getting at least one production folder this year. I love the design of the Hanan.

I just wish Spyderco wouldn't insist that EVERY freaking knife they produce has to have a hole in the blade! Especially when it has absolutely no functional use.
On the Hanan I feel it's the only thing that detracts from the overall look. I know its their "thing", but if Benchmade can make a few non-Axis knives then Spyderco can make some clean blades.

Seems to be the original custom version of the Taiwan 100 Paces knife.

If the 100 paces knife was slimmed down on spine and rear of handle to remove the hump. Then a framelock was added. I would start saving for one now and more than likely call it one of the coolest knives I have ever seen. That said it is still a very nice design.

I see people mentioning a Police 4, but I didn't see it in the video. Can't find it online either. Ar there any pictures or descriptions available?

Also, Spyderco should make a knife called the "CQI." The knife that is constantly improving......; )

There are two videos on you tube if you look. I think one is BHQ and the other is the late boy scout. The video not in this thread goes over the police 4 in depth

I'm very interested in the Lil' Temperence 3. It looks kind of like the Superleaf, but without the dramatic hook at the bottom of the handle that ruined it for me. I just hope that the Lil' Temp' doesn't have nylon washers :barf:

This.^ I hope the T3 has a round stop-pin. :D
And, the Snake Folder, for sure.

I kind of prefer nylatron washers to ball berring pivots. Phosphore bronze washers are also a great option. A well excecuted folder on these types of washers can be very smooth and flip very well. I prefer things to have less moving parts. Just kind of an if it ain't broke don't fix it type of thing.

Thanks for the videos. Is it just me, or does the Police 4 look a lot like the Military?
