The forum knife deserves better wood than the stuff I fence pastures with. It is super hard and durable tho, lasts decades in the ground.![]()
YukSince shockwood is still at zero: maybe some people don't know what it is and would actually like it(I certainly didn't know it(and don't like it)) Here's a picture from google. Schatt and Morgan did some slipjoints with it. The amount of resin seems to vary greatly from knife to knife/manufacturer to manufacturer

Ha, I went just the opposite, koa then ironwood.I went Ironwood then flamed koa.
I just don't get this passion for Osage orange it seems mundane- looking to me. ??
I really hope we can get sample pics of the expected versions of each finalist in the Battle Royale, that would be great!
