Could be true. I'm "not afraid to use a knife" (if I was, I probably would not have so many of them.) but I suppose part of the issue could be what it is there is no fear of using it for.

However, be that as it may, If you get her one, she is less likely to say
"I like that!"
Then proceed to confiscate and claim yours. :)
 
I haven't voted in any of the polls as I don't believe I'll be able to swing a knife purchase this year, but I would like to chime in with a kudos for SK Blades and Buck. I've read most of the Poll Threads and BF Knife Threads, and they have been completely bonkers with requests nuttier than a squirrel's winter stash. I'm so incredibly impressed with how SK Blades has handled this and how incredibly accommodating Buck has been with options lists and mock ups. Well done!

Yes I agree with both you guys. I feel a little silly emitting this but before the efforts for this year's BladeForums knife I never even considered buying a Buck knife. Since then I've been looking at there knives and I see them in a whole new light. I believe I'll be owning more then just one Buck knife before to long.:cool:

Can we get one of these reserved now? How much are they? I took a break from the forum knife threads but this nice is sounding really cool.

Don’t get too far ahead of the game here, just keep an eye on the threads and when the time comes to purchase, it’ll be announced. Usually it becomes a sticky at the top.
 
Speaking of sticky threads would be nice to have one that listed all the forum knife details and people could share their photos on them in it... wouldn't have to be sticky but be kinda nice.
 
Thanks SK Blades & Buck. Extremely well organized and thoughtful process. I voted for Ironwood due to all the voiced concerns re: Elk. Honestly, I probably will sit on the sidelines if Elk is the chosen cover.....and maybe hit the secondary market when I can visually inspect what I am buying.

Anxiously awaiting the final tally.
