As I understand it skblades skblades will be using his storefront/website for us to order from but it will not be a public page you would normally find on his site. The link or url will be given and public on BFs and anyone who wants to buy one will be able to and as long as at least 250 people buy a forum knife then we will get a forum knife.

Hooray for no shield! I like a clean look, which tends me towards no pins. Plus pins can add cracking potential. But gonna scour the internet for sample pics before I vote . . .

Cracking potential yes, if they're driven home incompetently and for this reason pin cracks often tend to show soon after you get the knife....But they're a safety measure too, think pins on a grenade..:D:D

What...you think the knife will explode?

No pin vote, here. It should look great, pins or not!

Hey, can we have the sample picture posted at the beginning of this this thread?
I want to show my neighbor.

I know that we are getting close, but I would really love to see if we can get a solid ballpark on the current estimated cost, and then maybe take a look at the box (I wantses).

But the thing I really want to say is that I would really really really REALLY like to find out just how much grooved bolsters would cost. I know it has been stated that the grooved bolsters would be cost prohibitive, but I am burning with curiosity as to how cost prohibitive. I just think that the knife we have made here this year would go from excellent to jaw dropping with grooved bolsters. Others may disagree, but I would love to know what the actual cost would be.

You could always get the chainsaw file out and groove them for free! Just keep those hands steady lol.

Were there still more choices ahead (box, anything with the stamp), or do these wrap it up?

Thanks for everything you've done to shepherd this along!
There are a few minor details to wrap up. I think we are going to be able to include the special box as well as a leather pocket pouch and keep everything under 100 including shipping. I'm working with Buck on those details right now.

I was going to suggest the same thing. :D You can buy a set of jeweler's needle files, and go to town!

^^^This is simply amazing!

It's been a really fun ride. Thanks again for all the work and interaction with us!

In honor of the upcoming Belmont Stakes "and down the stretch they come!"

Yes, I agree. Is it too late for this?

Sounding better and better!

I apologize if this has been answered many times, but is there an estimated release date?

I don't want to miss this one!
