I agree with both camps on the pull strength. Never had a slipjoint close on me in use, regardless of the weakness of the spring. But on the other hand, a weak snap is like shaking hands with someone with a less than firm, limp grip. Just not a pleasant experience! I prefer AT LEAST a 5.
