1. Battle Ax
2. Cqc-7 Fixed blade
3. Seax
4. Tiger
5. Tactical Kwaiken

I might get a Tiger. Can’t see myself getting any of the others. The CQC-7 fixed blade is interesting, but I have version a certain custom maker made me last year.

Anyone else excited?

Interesting that they are releasing previous signature series as production. I'll probably get a kwaiken and maybe a seax.

Alright Kwaiken...finally!

The Tiger looks tempting too.

I’m finally going to grab a kwaiken. I missed out on the signature series run. I wonder if these will be available at online dealers or just the EKI website.

Oh man, the Seax looks awesome. I wonder how large it is.

It's funny to see the wave on a fixed blade. ;)
According to the Emerson web page on the Seax, the blade is 3.9", which would leave the door open for a "Mini Seax" if it proves popular. I will have a Seax. As for the wave on the Fixed7, it was originally a blade stop/catch for knife fighting that inadvertently worked as an opening device (for folders).

Thanks! I didn't know that about the wave, and I didn't think the 2018 models would have store pages yet.

Definitely in for a Kwaiken, been chasing one for a while now. Seax looks cool, but I'll likely holdout. I've not considered a Tiger before, but it's really growing on me.

Glad to see EKI expanding the line.

When you think of "Emerson traits", the Tiger is as "Emerson" as it gets. By that I mean first and foremost, ERGONOMICS. If you drop a Tiger (in usage), you had to mean to. Secondly, the Tiger is at it's core, apologetically, an edged WEAPON. Sure, it will work fine for routine tasks, but make no mistake, it is a killer at heart. While not a true original classic, it does have their heritage: a CQC-8ish blade (albeit more robust) held in a CQC-13 grip (which is easily the "grippiest" folder handle I've ever experienced).

Fixed 7 is cool... but I've always had my eye on the Tiger, and seeing as how not too many pop up in the various Exchange forums out there they must be keepers, so I might have to pull the trigger this time.

I'm finally gonna get a Tactical Kwaiken, yay! Really like the Seax as well. Glad to see the Tiger as a production model, hopefully the ECS will be next.

But I think the main thing people are overlooking is the Battle Axe - in S7 steel! That's mixing things up alright, and will make one heck of an axe. Perhaps even the slimmest hope of other new steels on the horizon, considering I don't believe they've offered fixed blades in anything other than 154cm, besides the EOD. New things are cooking at Emerson, I like it.

Probably will get a kwaiken. Seax is abit big, though if it feels good in pikal grip
I might get it

Does anyone know the length of the blade on the fixed 7? Can’t get it to pop up on my phone. Saex or Kwaiken, toss up.
Thanks, Neal

4.2 blade length
8.9 oal length

It doesn’t show up on my phone either when my phone is upright. As soon as I turn it sideways, all the specs show.
