  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

2019 GEC 92 Eureka Jack

this was a model that was often recommended to me, so when i had the chance i scored the elderberry. i wish the pull was just a bit heavier.
I hear ya, I too lean towards a heavier pull, but I find this particular one more than acceptable , maybe because it's pinchable and I fidget with it so much and any stronger I'd be chipping away at my nails?

These were probably my favorite run of GECs in 2019. Love the 92 pattern. Wish I would have kept my banana bone Life happens.
Id love to add one to my collection some day, would be my second LP Matchstrike then

View attachment 277641692 with rat tail bolsters, i asked joan at gec to do a deep dive into the origins of my bolsters, I was told that sometimes spare parts are used,we were never able to find out why mine have different bolsters, but it suits the 92.
Nice knife! Bolsters look very similar to the bolsters on Charlie's last run of lamb foot knives, and also the bolsters on the 2019 run.

Are you the original owner?
No but the original owner said he slightly used it and put a patina on,no mention of any mod.but does that mean it wasn't mod by someone else I can't say definitively it wasn't,if it was they did an excellent job and that's why I was thinking maybe spare bolsters at factory might of been used, but I can't see bill allowing that, could a worker been bored,I've worked piece work on a steel fabrication floor and after daily quota was met some fun took place.but unless someone reads this and says hey that was me I will never know.

Neat knife, regardless. Looks good ratted up, imho!
