My apologies if someone already started a thread.

Seems like we should get one going for the 35. The Beer and Sausage Bar Tool is interesting but of course there are some standard 35 releases coming soon as well.

The 35 variations haven't been officially announced yet on the production schedule but there are a few SFOs in the works right now.

There is a lot of creative freedom with a symmetrical pattern like the 35...a wide variety of materials, shields and embellishments work pretty well.

As an original fan of the #35 Churchill, I am pretty excited to see what GEC has up their sleeve with regards to the pattern this year. If the M&G variant rumors hold true, I will certainly be interested in that one and, of course, I am very curious what else they have planned outside of the B&S design.

There is a M&G variation but I'm fairly certain it's not the layout people have been showing on here.

I'm glad for another chance at the 35 so soon. I had traded into an ebony, but was lusting after the hummingbird acrylic. I sold the ebony and never was able to grab the hummingbird. Now I'll get another chance at the pattern. I much liked the size and the single spring. Nice pattern, and I'm not a huge fan of equal ends.

I will hold expectations on the new #35's coming...
If it has blades on both ends, I'll have to pass... not a pen or scout fan.
If it's a Jack, as long as it doesn't have a fat spear blade, I may be interested.

Interesting. Given M&G's track record, they haven't been shy about tackling configurations that may not have mass appeal right off the bat. They are certainly unique in that respect.

I will be looking forward to the surprise, whatever it might end up being.

Can any details or preview pictures of the upcoming SFOs be shared? I would love to see them.

I would love a single blade version to come out besides the SFO that's been leaked. I recently acquired a Delta Jack and absolutely love it. A Tidoute or Northfield GEC version would be right up my alley. I'm not super interested in a cattle knife or opposite end configuration at this point but once I see them I could change my mind. The radio silence on the GEC site is

I think there may be two single blade sfos, and the M&G sfo. The beer knife and a regular run?

The single blade SFO that's already been sort of announced is from the gent that makes the battleship knives - can't remember their name at the moment. Single spear blade (most Damascus but some 1095) mostly wood handles some yellow bone.

Who is doing a single blade SFO? Is it another Northwoods? Or will this be, could this be, a non-saber grind knife...?

I'd like to know myself. All that was told to me was smooth bone and single spear. IN or OUT. I asked no further questions.

There is a pic on GEC's site of a pile of spear blades with Northwoods stamped on them - it is pictured with the B&S "progress" pics. @jsdistin spotted it and showed it over in the Northwoods thread.

Could be another Presidential configuration but my money would be on a single blade 35 of sorts.
