I believe camel bone is denser than cow bone. It seems to not take the dye as well. I only have one knife in it, and I actually like the faded look, partly because I've convinced myself it must be stronger material because it's so pale.I wish their dye's penetrated more. So many seem faded these days.
I wish the banana was closer to the Allegheny in yellow and penetration of dye.
Swing and a miss, maybe tomorrow.
Missed it by 24 hrs. Seeing pics of carvers inprocess, still holding to my 2-3 week prediction.
Nah, Monday Tuesday for the bananas.there you go! Figuring tomorrow will be another “release” picture?
Guys, I got my SMKW 62. It's the best made of the three I have. Absolutely no gaps or corners. The spring is perfectly flush open and closed on both sides. It even came with a decent edge. Man, what craftsmanship. Not in love with the etch, but whatever. That can be removed.
