The swedge on the snake wood isn’t really my bag, though the bolster ornamentation, oak leaf and snake wood are. It almost had me.
that and the one review looks like a post from a fluffer. I don’t need a rando to tell me they will not be here for long... not to mention it’s a blind review since there’s no way he could have it yet. It’s not really why I wouldn’t get one, but it sure is distracting.

thanks! Wicked cool comparison. I love how the possum skinner handle magically seems to morph when we look at it relative to the secondary blade. Awesome stuff.

looks slightly more narrow than your possum skinner. Definitely looks like a valuable carver’s tool when those beauties come out.

I ordered a maroon micarta the other day knowing that the snake wood and iron wood were planned. I like them but I’ve come to generally like micarta better and this one looks great. Will compliment my red bone and ivory.
