Maybe I’m misunderstanding what you are saying, but just to clarify, as far as I know this is just a regular knife release. This is not a special order with any affiliation with this forum.

I wish it was the 2021 forum knife! It might be a little easier to get ahold of that way. There is no 2021 forum knife yet. If it happens, the discussion will have its own thread. Hopefully you can get your hands on one of these.
Save a puppy from a dry well and build up some bodacious karma. Or ... live on your computer and refresh every 10 seconds the various distributor sites listed on greateasterncutlery.net. I have about given up trying. I picked up a #47 in ironwood by accident. All of the distributors are completely out in less than 3 minutes after putting an email out. I have over 60 in the tube and another dozen or more that I have used. Started back a decade ago when it was not such a frustrating scramble. I don't know if it is way more demand or less production. Only one distributor that I know of has an "early reserve", but that is about the same. Gone in seconds
