2022 GEC Cattle Knife/Camp Knife #35 Thread

I saw that, and I recall a few folks were hoping for a cattle knife, and Jiki Jiki hinting at one.
I love the #35 frame, and it looks very useful.

Anyone know if it's a 2 or three springer?

Looks like 2, however the photos get a little grainy when you zoom in.
Hahaha, that's exactly what I was up against- like either the spey has a spacer on the other side or we're actually seeing the other end of a 3rd spring.

Someone more knowledgeable than myself should comment, but isn't a Cattle knife traditionally three springs?

my eyes aren't the greatest looks like 2 springs but hard to tell
I'm not an expert but I don't think traditionally a cattle knife is 3 springs
Personally I would like to see GEC make one of these 35s with a punch instead of a spey

It’s happened before on other knives but I noticed that the Tidioute spear has long pull and swedge, something usually seen on the Northfields. Wondering if the NF version will have a different main like a clip point.

Correct me if I’m wrong but it looks like a cam tang on the spey blades on GEC’s site, which would mean no half stops?

I think this knife looks amazing, hope I can manage to score one before they all get gone. I love the classic patterns, cattle knives, swell end jacks, etc. I wonder why more folks don’t make stuff like this anymore because it seems to be so popular

It’s a really nice knife and I just recently got into two blade knives. I wouldn’t know what to do with this three blade 😆 going to wait and see what the camp knife looks like
