2022 Lick Creek Barlow #14 thread

I've not had the pleasure of handling a 14 barlow as yet. Not for lack of trying, lol. I'd be like the member above, my head might spin if a lambfoot of any combo was produced.I do love single clips but a 2 blade 14 sounds amazing! I'll be scrambling for a TC or Liclk Creek in most any cover. Gorgeous woods, beautiful bones. Looking forward to seeing what these shape up to be.😅
Some previously released 14s for your viewing pleasure 😁

These aren't lick creek, however...hope the OP is okay with non-Lick Creek 14s...

Size comparison 14 / 15 single clip TCs. 15 blade isn't much larger, difference is more noticeable in the handle.

Single blade TC 14s, two on the left are rounded variants. Spear on the bottom is a Lick Creek.

Looking forward to seeing how the cocobolo and the wormhole post covers turn out on these barlows. The #14 frame is at that edge of too small on its own to land one in my pocket, but some have come really close, especially with the clip main blade. Like John wrote, the blade isn't that much smaller than the blade on the #15, it's the handle that makes most of the difference.

Awesome comparisons there chief… beautiful 👌

These Barlows look great, but I don't know if I'd prefer it to my Lick Creek Boy's Knife. The smaller the knife, the more I feel it benefits from the added width of a second blade. More girth can compensate for lacking in length. (Yes, I know. That's what she said.)
