Forgive my ignorance, but what is an S model?

an S model gec is typically one with some minor cosmetic defect that the factory determines. knife totally works fine. Some knives were given an S designation sometimes on purpose like some rendezvous specials.

Both my Marrow Bone and Cocobolo had sluggish actions on arrival. Nothing a bit of a flush couldn't remedy - both fine now.

Thanks for the positive comment, I think I’ll try the soapy flush out , taking precautions yes, when he’s back then a damn good lubing up and whatnot.

I bought a 78 marrow bone that was a pasty mismatch of colors and sharp sides,so I sanded down with a polishing sandpaper and then died it with brown and also red to get a look that is worthy to carry,I may add some more brown but will try this for a bit.
