I can only speak for myself and I haven't bombed the Internet (notice that I also have praises for the knife).I've been seeing across multiple sources that these are coming with bad springs on the small blade. I wasn't sure if I'm just seeing the same 1-2 guys be vocal in multiple places, or if it is more of a widespread issue.

Flushing on repeat and fiiiinally my Eureka snaps open - a weak snap but a snap nonetheless. I guess that's how it is sometimes but I'm not scared off - I got the white oily bone arriving in a few days

There is no excuse for these weak pulls and lazy snaps. GEC's reputation is taking a hit more and more with this problem.
