2025 Eureka Jack thread

Coincidentally, I have my one remaining 92 from the '19 run with me today. I think I had 4 or 5 of them at one time, but winnowed them down to this one. Even though I've really come to prefer a good clip point blade, this one still works for me.... it's a solid 5-6 pull with crisp half stops... I still really appreciate the style/shape of the Eureka jack... I might prefer the newer version, with both nail nicks on the same side, as is my preference...

A shame they ditched the match strike on the new versions though. It looks so good on an Eureka.

Got my white bone 92 today as well. I was nervous after seeing some of the posts about the action, but mine is pretty good. Main blade is around a 5 to half stop and 6 on opening. The coping blade is about a 4 overall. My only complaint is that both blades have minor side to side play. I have never tried correcting this on my own, suggestions are welcome.

Flush the joints first with oil and see how it feels.

Probably one of my favorite patterns by GEC. Wish they'd offer some bare-headed too.
These new ones look very nice with the cap but they did make them like you want in 2016 .

I'm used to zero gaps around the bar shield. The pictures I've seen of the smooth white bone seem like there is a good bit of space around the shields - but maybe it's just the way it looks it pictures?

Postie Mike just dropped this beauty off! IMHO I hit the stag jackpot with the covers. Nicely figured and not too thick. The blades are nice and snappy especially compared to my white linen which makes this one sound like gator snaps. This one is a keeper!
