Thanks Killgar. You should get oneGood looking knife. More practical and better suited for cutting than most stiletto switchblades.
But I've never handled a Launch 8, so I have no personal experience with them.

That thing looks wider than most Spydercos o_oI've been out of the knife game for a while. I bought a whole lot, sold off quite a few more then I finally just settled on my favorite design which talked to me the most.
Carrying my favorite design for years now, I pulled the trigger on the current version of my old favorite which arrived yesterday.

Have a standard chopper from CPKs and another order from a different brewer on line and am hoping that’s it. Actually thought is was done last year but I was wrong, go figure

Yep, I put a deep carry clip on it, and I'm thinking on carrying it in my boot! Thanks Killgar. You should get oneI think you'd like it.
There is not much i like that I can afford at the moment, or at least can justify buying. I won't own something I won't use, and I generally like knives in the $500-$1k range, and don't want to ruin a pretty anodized knife.
In the realm of more affordable knives, a Spyderco Military 2 in an interesting steel I don't yet have is on the list. Maybe for my birthday coming up, we'll see.
Also maybe a Spymyto.
I held a Bodacious last week at a knife shop. It felt great in hand, but I did not buy it because it was in what I refer to as the basic Spyderco Amish suit. Black G10 & S30v. Change either material and I'll likely jump on it. Very good design, IMO.As the year progresses, I've been eyeing a Spyderco Bodacious more and more, but I don't know if I really need it, since my knife needs are pretty much well covered at the moment and I already came a compression lock Spyderco and the Bodacious wouldn't do anything I can't already do with my knives.
The thought of getting into higher-end knives is getting stronger as well, I've been playing with the idea of ordering a CRK - though I can't decide between a Sebenza or Inkosi (but I know I want an Insingo blade) (nor do I really get what's so different between the two) or an SHF, but to me, spending about 600€ on a knife is somewhat ludicrous at the moment ... I guess I'll wait and see how the year goes on.
That’s a really nice watch!Beggs and CRKT (seiko 5)

Not to be a Debby Downer but have you seen what I suspect is a knockoff coming out of Morocco?I held a Bodacious last week at a knife shop. Good luck for a successful 2025!
