Please forgive me if there’s another thread that has been started but I haven’t seen one. And since I just paid my invoice on this beauty I figured here we go! I went with the stripes .

I’d like to hear more about the antique pine. I was involved in the demolition of some old buildings in Lake Charles, Louisiana in the early 80’s. Those buildings were built in the 1800’s from old growth, local pine. There were full cut 2x8’s that were 30 feet long, it took 3 men to carry one.

That old growth pine was dark in color, and very hard.

I like the proud pivot pins. As someone who is always chasing a perfect pin/bolster blend, that makes things much easier. And the finish also!

The blade finish is just right but I'd prefer a more prominent domed pivot and no shield, it somehow jars with the small blade long handle. Think Ettrick knife.

I got 2 longs and a short.... The longs have textbook perfect pulls...... The shorty is about a 14.... I can't open it W/O a pair of plastic tipped pliers.... For those who got short versions, how is the pull?....... Thnx....
