Here's a 10/10 21+ inch, 1.75 pound dui chirra Chainpuri by a new BirGorkha kami team comprised of Jag and Prem Bishwakarma. Jag is 55 and a true master kami, Prem is 35 and has only 25 years experience. Their mark appears to be a small full sun with 4 points at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock.

This effort was to show Gelbu what this team could do and Gelbu put them on the payroll immediately. They are good, no doubt. The karda and chakma are very, very nice indeed, and the scabbard is one of the best the sarki with no name has done to date. The big blade is flawlessly executed. Note the staggered inlay Sword of Shiva area.

So, if anybody wants a top notch dui chirra Chainpuri here's your chance.

We will deliver this rig to your door for $125 if you send us a report from the field when you get it.

Call or email if interested.

It appears that I beat The Great White Shark Feeding Frenzy and I am Soooooo Happppyyyy

This will make a nice companion to the as forged blade with the hammer dingy finish by Kumar that I finished out.
It's 1 Lb 3 oz and 17" so the weights should feel very similar.

This is quite a catch, the 1st offering of a new kami team and a dui chiarra Chainpuri to boot.
I love the heart shaped cho!!!

And Berk, Believe Me, I Feel your Pain!!!!

And Thank You Bill, It is a nice "Catch."

Even though there is a 12" Ghopte and a M43 on the way, let me know if another like this shows up, or anything by these new guys.

AS stated, nice grab, indeed!

Uncle Bill, didn't you mention a while back that Gelbu had gone recruiting? Looks like he has the touch.

Not a great deal of detail visible on the sheath, but from what I can see, plus your comment, it appears that the quality of the blade influences the sarki's work a bit, too.

The hatchmarks on the bolster are a great touch

Glad to hear of more Kamis too! Really nice rig.

:
Thanks for mentioning the hatchmarks.
With WebTV instead of a regular computer I can't see them.

I will be antsy all week now until it gets here hopefully by Thursday or at the latest on Friday.
A friend of ours wants a TV Stand made like the one Barb and I made a few years back.
It is of a Southwestern Flavor and is made from peeled Ash with nice white pine shelves and screwed together and then wrapped with rawhide at the joints.
Perhaps next weekend I will be able to find some suitable material and try this sweetheart out.
