I thought I would bring this back TTT in case aanyone missed the link in the post that Heber wrote asking about , "Which one should I get?"
I believe this one competes very well with the YCS in terms of beauty. This is one of the prettiest of all the H.I.Khukuris with perhaps the exception of the beautiful bone handled H.I.Kothimoda I have.
But that one does
NOT get used although I did test it.
One has to be sure any knife is up to snuff IMO.
This is one of the 3 khukuris I keep out of the safe and close by all the time.
I know y;all can guess what the other 2 are, but just in case they're the YCS and the BGRS.
As I've said before, "These are my favorites in this weight range.
"
And I think the DCC is the lightest of these.
Actually I am thinking I could say that these 3 are my most favorite favorite's.
And these are the ones that definitely go with us when we're gonna be gone for any length of time.
The 18" AK and the GRS go along if I plan to do any heavy work.
