I have no knowledge of traditional style knives but that TIDIOUTE CUTLERY knife is fine looking. So are most of the traditional knives you post, you have a good eye cobber 👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺

For many years I have carried a Vic Waiter model in my left front pocket. I have used it many times for tasks relating to work other than cutting.
Most recently, I used the tweezers to remove a thorn that pushed up under my fingernail when moving around shrubs in pots at the store.

I always also have a modern pocket clip knife in my right front pocket (mostly ZTs), although I sometimes will swap that out for a traditional, often a BF Forum knife, when the mood strikes me.

Following is a picture of my original old warhorse -

It had been sharpened so much (all on stones) that it became a wharncliffe of sorts.
I lost that knife, sadly, when I had to leave it in a rental car when going into the Sears Tower in Chicago on a business trip. I left it in the door pocket of the car, and when I noticed the knife was gone, I called and the clean up people said they never found it.

I then got online and bought two vintage waiters, as well as a modified waiter and have two in spare and one to carry.

I will get some pictures of it in the next couple of days to post here.

best

It will never replace my BK2 but my Izula is with me most days at work now.
Dan, I have quite a story with my first Izula, which I eventually found that I feared was lost, I replaced it with a new Izula II. I had to re-profile the first Izula. They are two favorite fixed blades of mine and I carried an Izula daily back when I owned an exterior wood restoration business. I cleaned and stained wood decks, docks, siding, cedar shingles, asphalt roofs, fences, log homes, concrete, etc...

When I was in my saftey gear on roofs, I always had an Izula in a neck sheath if I ever had to cut my safety ropes....oh, I have stories ;) I did it for 19 years and man I loved it!!!
I'll post pic's when I can
