Many thanks brother!...Yea, I knew I had to have that one as soon as I saw it, and it has done a great job cutting many an apple while resting by lakes at the top of long hikes

sonofwilfred sonofwilfred - love the old-style corkscrews -

I have the Waiter at the beach on Hilton Head Island this week -

That looks like a great place to be mate. I try to limit my collecting to, made in the 80's red Swiss Army Knives and the grooved/fluted corkscrews are a bonus.
Dan.

Since I am waiting for the rest of my companions to get themselves ready for the days activities, I went ahead and took a couple of quick pictures of my carry (not carrying all of them all the time - just the Waiter and one other knife) -

The silver thing on my Waiter's keyring is my samsung thumb drive. It is made of stainless and is very rugged.

Well, I didn't last as long as I thought with the Rambler. Great knife just too small in the pocket for me, so it's back on the key-chain and the Ambassador is in the RFP pocket. Today the other is a GEC 15 in stag.

Ahhhhh, much better! :)
If they added the caplifter/ screwdriver tool to an executive/ambassador sized knife I truly think it would sell.

Those are the right knives for the beach my friend. The stag 38 is too handsome to risk near salt water. Enjoy that weather!
