I’ve been EDCing a custom Laconico EZC since I got it. It’s the perfect gent's pocket knife for me. But it’s bumped any uses for the large blade on my favored SAK Compact multi-tool.

I just made an inquiry with Robert J Lessard to mod a new SAK Compact to avoid any redundancies. Small blade to replace large blade, reamer to replace parcel hook, Titanium scales with tweezers and toothpick slots, copper inlaid cross.

This place is expensive to hang out in.

I came across this sweet little 3.5" bantam (no pocket clip) that I haven't used in years. That was a big mistake which I rectified yesterday by pairing with a frequently carried sportsman. Worked out real well!

Although the Case Slimline Trapper is elegant and useful, it is still only a knife, a tool whose basic function is to cut. Pair it with my favorite SAK, the Bantam, and it has been completed into a unit which is more than the sum of its parts.
