25 Micarta inlay first RUN!

I am not sure when the next production run is done, this one is sold out everywhere and an instant collection piece:)). I am sure a sample will be available!

Well, I am still on the fence, but look forward to seeing one in person.

Congrats !
It looks much better than in the previous pics I've seen, or maybe its just growing on me.

What makes you think this is an instant collection piece ?
Does it have a "First Run" marking on the card, box, or knife ?
If so, I've never seen that done.
Just curious.

I got the first Micarta Sebenza ever sold when it made its debut at Blade 2005. I don't consider it a collection piece since its just like all of the others. Nothing on knife, card, or box says anything about it being the first, or a first production.

I bought it from Anne, and looking back I wish I had gotten her to sign the box saying it was the first ever sold:p
Not that it would've mattered though since it would've still went right into my pocket.

I just got mine in today and I must say, not too shabby at all, I like it a lot!!!! It has it's own personality with a different look.

Great pic! Seeing it side-by-side with the 21 it sure looks like it saves on Micarta! ;)

I like it. It looks better than when we first saw it. I think it my be a little wider. Maybe it's just growing on me. I also agree with Ken44. First run rarely makes a crk more of a collection piece than any other of that model. If they stopped making them or changed them drastically, then I would see the collector value. It looks like a great edc though!

The date makes any knifes first run on the Birthcard an instant collection item! But that comes a few years later!

KnifeArt sold their last one today, good thing or tomorrow morning I'd have been waiting on the UPS man again...
