25 Micarta inlay first RUN!

I just don't like how the bottom inlay curves down a bit. And comparing the 21 to the 25 I like how the inlays on the 21 rest right next to each other and go all the way to the edge of the titanium. On the 25 there's too much negative space. I won't hold my breath for a redesign but when I buy a micarta it'll be a 21.
 
To all the people that got one and are keeping it gratz. I my self got one a couple of days ago and sold it to my brother almost instantly. He is now thinking about putting it up for sale on the forum so keep an eye out. This one was not for me, also can't wait to see what CGG's they come up with for the 25!
 
Bluesummers, did you dye the micarta on the 21, or has it darkened up that much naturally.
Both knives look great by the way.

It has just darkened up over time by my natural oils. Also, my micarta was pretty dark to begin with. Didn't have many grey fibers running through like I've seen on a few.

I like the different approach to the inlays. Reason I bought the 25. I didn't want the plain 25 and I don't like the large 21 but this 25 with micarta inlays does it for me. Even though the people I showed said "I've already seen that knife" No, you've seen my small Sebenza 21. Guess it is not a difference to somebody that doesn't like knives.

My 1 negative so far is that I don't like the lanyard placement. Will probably take it off soon.
 
Just ordered. The store I bought from had 4 before I ordered, so they are definitely not sold out everywhere yet. I simply googled "sebenza 25 micarta" and they were top of the second page.

This will be my fourth CRK, but first with inlay. And the only CRK that I currently own. I always seem to get rid of my CRK when I need funds for other knives or hobbies. Not sure why that is because I crave them when I don't have one.

Like most people, I am not crazy about the shape of the inlays. But, I won't know 100% until I try it out. Worst case is I sell it and pick up a 21 micarta. Can't really go wrong with any CRK :).
 
Micarta 25... looks good, but feel GREAT in hand!!!

The inlays still look too thin to me. They do look thicker than the first pics we all saw (maybe I'm imagining). Really prefer the look of the 21 to the 25 inlays.
 
Nice pic Piter^^ I'm still on the fence about it. I'm warming up to it, but I really don't see how someone will enjoy a few strips of mammoth, snakewood etc if they decide to keep the same inlay outlined the same as the micarta.

I really can't hate on anything CRK does, I love 99% of what they do...guess I'm just a fan boy:)
