25 Micarta inlay first RUN!

Posting pics of the 25 Micarta next to the 21 Micarta does the 25 Micarta no favors. ;)

Thanks for posting, especially the comparison pixs.
Now I know I have to get one.....
Curious how it feels in the hand. The desing of the micarta inlays make it look lighter than the 21 inlays, YMMV.
I wonder how colored micarta inlays would look like.

Ajack60, let the critics criticize making their decision on few pictures. Those of us who have it in their hand can really enjoy it and appreciate it design and feel, as well as functionality! Ken44 you will not see an earlier birth card than on these few produced. Instant collection peace! Now I own Prototype 25, 16/25, USN first custom 25 out of 50, and now Micarta first run 25.

Jon1all, no favors needed , people voted with their wallets and not their mouths. All sold out. Not bad for such a horrible knife. I bet other manufacturers would love the same reception. I remember when people criticized for buying Prototypes 25 for $2500. I was offered $3000 for mine recently, and it will only go up!

KnifeArt sold their last one today, good thing or tomorrow morning I'd have been waiting on the UPS man again...

Methinks you doth protest too much. :D

I never said it was a "horrible knife". I'm sure it's as totally fine and functional as any other CRK knife (which is to say, excellent). But beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I personally don't behold a lot of beauty in the 25 Micarta...especially not side-by-side with the 21 Micarta. But I am glad you (and the others who've bought it) like it. I do not begrudge you that. Enjoy it! I have nothing against the 25 in general and am sure I will end up with a plain 25 eventually. But if I decide to get an inlaid Sebenza, I personally would prefer the 21--I find it more attractive. Just my preference...you have yours, others have theirs...not right or wrong...just different. And that's okay. ;)

Yeah seeing it side by side with the 21 Micarta just makes the 25 version look even uglier IMO. I wonder if it has ergonomic benefits.

Agree , it's in the eye of the beholder, You are judging by snapshot. Those of us holding it are experiencing live movie in 3d. Now good luck getting one :)).

Wow, didn't realize how much wider the 21 inlay is compared to the 25. Ugh...they should have made it one piece..smh.

I can't link to it since its still live, but a CRK authorized dealer has had one up for a few days(in case you want another).
Also, unless they've changed anything on it they're making more just like it, so they won't be hard to get.

Well what do you know, birds of a feather flock together, I've got #19 prototype 25, and I must say IMO the 25 micarta in hand feels good, I can't really tell any difference between the 21 and 25, but that's just me. Like everything else that changes, it takes time for folks to adjust. I'm sure in time the first batch of the 25 inlays will be desired by some that are looking for a specific date they were made. I can only base that on the recent CRK's that sold for a mint on another site. Thank God, that not everyone likes them, for if they did, I probably wouldn't have one now, that's why I love this place, everyone is entitled to their thoughts to share with us all. I do understand the passion some have for their knives and feel the need to defend their choices...:)

Ken44 that is not a dealer but action and it's $25 over what I bought. So you see it went up already :)).

They are an authorized CRK dealer. They're not a Blade Forums dealer, but are an authorized CRK dealer. I've bought from them a few times. You can google them and see, or call CRK.
The link I sent you was for a "Buy it Now" on the bay, but I just checked and they also have one on their website for $10 less.
Thats the same price($520) I've seen them at, but they are charging shipping.
The price of shipping added on doesn't seem like a bad deal if its an instant collection piece.

Yes they state they are a dealer and want $530 for the knife plus $17 shipment. That is $547 vs $520 net that is all sold out:)). Show me the link for $520 with shipment???

I wish you would've replied to my PM and asked me that, as I can't show you a link here since they're not a BF dealer:p
I told you in PM and in a post above they charged shipping, and that I can't name them here.

As I said, the place has a web site were they are $520 PLUS shipping. I can't say the site here since they aren't a Blade Forum dealer. They are an authorized CRK dealer for sure. Google them or call CRK if you need to confirm that.

Go to the sale and look at the name of their store. Don't go to their site through the bay, but google the same name as their bay store name and you will see the website were they are $520 PLUS shipping.
Go SOONERS, its a good STATE, and they like KNIVES. That should help you find it.

I was just trying to help as I thought you may want another, and you didn't think there were anymore out there.
Have a great day :)

There's a BNIB 25 Micarta (same 4/30/2014 birthday) on that other major knife forum that has the same initials as the United States Navy. ;)

The seller is only asking $500 shipped... been up for 2 days now, no bites so far.
