25 perfect things....

bein "papa" to two lil boys,that lost thier dad,and watchin em grow up and learn new things,and hear em laugh when "papa" acts like a big kid!!

watchin the same two lil boys tea into a christmas gift and see thier faces light up.

being proud of my 19 yr old high school grad.

the look on a clients face when i just finished thier new and first tattoo!

hangin with my friends in the middle of no where and havin the time of our lives.-fed

Great thread! Here's a few in no particular order (except #!)

1. My 2 sons. Greatest thing I have done or will ever do.

2. Looking up at the tent roof in the Boundary waters and seeing a mouse perched there, then having hundreds scurry over it in a mad dash.

3. Having a loon pop out of the water next to my canoe, then dive and reappear a hundred yards away.

4. The smell of the earth when spring breaks.

5. Full moon and the stars glittering.

6. A fresh pair of socks after a day on my feet.

7. Thrill of getting a new knife.

8. Coffee or tea with half and half. A sheer delight, not to mention fuel for my addiction to caffeine.

9. Cooking outside. Always tastes better to me.

10. The crackle of a fire my son started and his look of satisfaction.

On the list was the bearclaw at the Polebridge Mercantile at Glacier NP. It deserves to be there. That is perhaps the single best $3.50 I've spent.
