(FWIW, last week I rooted vehemently AGAINST the Niners, but for the Super Bowl, I'm rooting unequivocally FOR them.
Actually, if the Lions can't be there (which seems to be a Law of Nature), I don't mind seeing KC and SF in the Super Bowl. Since the Lions already beat KC this year, I'd like to see SF win it all - that puts the Lions in 2nd place in my twisted mind! Hey, when did that 2nd emoji change? Sometime today, I think.)

Grew up a Cowboys fan. Jerry Jones soured me on them, pretty much from the time he bought the team and fired Tom Landry. That was worse than the Astros cutting Nolan Ryan's salary (which is how he ended up with the Rangers).

Edit: Landry became coach of the Cowboys the year I was born: 1960. He was coach for 29 years. What Jones did was devastating! Don't want to talk about J. Jones anymore or I'll commence to cussing!
