LOL, not hardly brother. :D:D

Well, on 2nd thought, If I can't hit the broad side of a barn with it than ...

Maybe!;):D

I'm just waiting on it to arrive from Canada!

54 lbs. in a recurve? That's prob at 28" draw too. With no let-off, bet you let that one go quickly.

Dayyyymmmm....that's a fine looking recurve there T....

Thanks guys!

Roger that, 54 lbs...

its gonna be my daily work out. First thing in the am, and before dark.

Definitely gonna take getting use too. I been shooting for almost 30 years since I was 14, started out instinctive with no release, glove, or anything. Had to turn that Bear all the way down...thought the guys setting up were skit-ish as they backed it off.:D:D

Dad, wouldnt let me add anything til I could consistently hit a paper plate out to 40 yds. Then he let me get sights, releases etc...kinda wish I never had. Although, there is no question I wouldnt have killed the deer I have without all the extras.

Last 7-8 years couple my friends are all about stick and string. In Northern VA, you can take a doe a day during hunting season up to 3 or 4 without extra tags which goes along ways these days on filling the freezer. I got three kids and two eat more than I do ;):D

Anyway, in years past practicing bs around camp I get kinda left out. They shoot 3 to my one, get to shoot small game without worrying too much about losing a $12-15 arrow shooting stumps dirt clump whatever. So, I been wanting this for a while. Can resharpen old school broadheads over and over vs my Rages

My buddy still get excited about taking a nice doe, and that is cool. Im looking forward to the challenge, the peace and serenity of getting back outside, and little time for myself.

Happy for you, T. Time with the family outdoors and hunting is life at its best, but it's always good to spend some time by yourself in those wild, silent places--gets you back to your soul.

Thats it. I am now in the market for a traditional bow. Havent had one for years. I got wrapped up in technology. Time to go back to old school. Thanks for the inspiration T.

Thanks brother. I think it will be worth it. :)

Had some technical difficulties at deer camp in Kentucky this year and lost all my pics but I finally found one. Not entering the contest just wanted to share with my friends. Not the biggest but I am still proud of this one. He was running broadside to me at about 200 yards and I dumped him right in his tracks right before he hit the brush. One of the more challenging shots I have made to date.

Not the best pic but here you can see where he dropped and see that a few more steps would have put him out of my shooting window.
