Up for Sale is the Shiva an Al Mar designed that was introduced as their 25th Anniversary Commemorative and is the first tactical fixed blade they have ever made with a full tapered tang of laminated VG-10 steel blade. The VG-10 is laminated between two layers of 400 series stainless steel which increases the lateral strength of the blade by upwards of thirty percent and does so without increasing the weight or bulk. The blade is also soldered at the guard. This is finest tactical fixed blade that Al Mar ever designed and produced. I am the 3rd owner and it dose show some handling marks and a slight touch of oxidation on the guard area due storing in the Sheath. The knife dose not appear to have been sharpened or used or carried. Dose not come with the original box. The knife was made in Japan. The knife OAL is 10” and the blade length is 5.25”. It has a satin finished blade and is is a modified drop point with a false top edge. The handle is polished brown Micarta with a lined throng holes and a brass guard.The fit and finish is way above average. The Price shipped USPS insured was $325.00 was $285,00 now $255.00.
