Allergies have been bothering me all shift and the antihistamines don't seem to be working. It was the same story last year and the year before but it doesn't seem as bad. I still have some pills I haven't tried.
 
i know the feeling my nose has been backed up or running like a siv for two weeks lol!! damn hayfever season!

The mini hatchet is cool as heck WW!!

I went to the doctor yesterday for my DOT physical and the doctor wouldn't recertify me. I have sleep apnea, but never ended up getting a machine to treat it. She was going through my records and found that. So now when my old medical card runs out in a few days I'm SOL. I have to get another sleep study done and then use the machine for a month before she will give me a new card. Pretty frustrating that I'm being forced to spend thousands of dollars and be out of work at the same time!! I'm not quite sure what to do right now.

Can you get a temporary license or cert from her? Seems kind of bad to put a man out of work. You might need an attorney.

On the plus side. Get the study and the machine. Once you start using one, you'll love the thing. I call mine the vacuum cleaner. Heh heh.
I use the full face mask because I have always had sinus issues, and if my nose plugs up, I rip the nose mask or pillows off. With the full nose and mouth mask, I don't have the problem. Being a scuba diver, I don't get claustrophobic with the full mouth and nose mask like some do, I am okay with having my face occupied with gear.

I asked about a temporary 3 month certificate, but she said she couldn't. I've been reading around on the fmcsa website and can't find the information I need. At first she told me that I needed to use it for 3 months, but then went and checked and found that I need 30 days using it.

Everyone I've talked to that uses a cpap machine says it made an amazing difference in their lives. I'm not sure what mask I'll end up using. I guess I'll wait and see. I've had a goatee since I was in high school and have a full beard all winter, so I don't know how well a full mask will work for me. Hopefully a nose mask will work.

Good morning fellas!
So I've had this chuck of A2 for awhile and its been a great paper weight, its a good 4 pounds. I tried to sell it even give it away, I got no takers..so now I'm on a mission to make a flint knapping tomahawk head style axe head. Gonna start it today and hopefully get it to shape.
 
Oh and I'm working on a Beckerhead only GAW and a BF free for GAW! Just need some time to get it all together.
