Yesterday was national knife day???.... 8/24... I just read something about it.

And Yea TBL a mini pipe hawk would be sweet, but prolly hard to make it fully functional.... Of course i never made one so i have no idea but it seems like there would be a lot more to it.

I really think a set of 3 mini throwing hawks and a cool looking wood target would be AWESOME and not too difficult!! Maybe take a 10-12" log round and put a couple legs on it or even put a wall hanger on the back of it or something.... It would be fun, functional, and just COOL :D

Of course Todd and Murph might not ever get any work done after making the first one LMAO, they would be throwing the minis all day :D

So....excitement today. A Brown Bat seemed to find a way into our house and started climbing up the fireplace mantle. My question is how long has it been in our house....

I picked it up in an old pillow case and released it on our back yard tree. Funny coincidence is the kids learned about bats last week at the library. Pictures to follow once we dl them from the wifes camera.

Again, thanks for all the good thoughts.

Finding out about this on a magazine's website was a bit of a shock.

We just finished off a bottle of wine and reminisced about the past.

And awesome stuff Tom!!

I used my Biru a little earlier to cut out some cardboard short sword designs.... Went down to the basement to throw some clothes in the wash, came back up and my son had already taken them.. The punk.

One of these days im going to have to actually have something made with this hunk of steel i have over here and quit playing around with different designs LOL


Oh yea, i love that little buffer Daizee includes, i done worn mine down to nothing LMAO but it worked great!!

My condolences, Gus. I've never understood that impulse, and that it could be a solution to a problem.

Man is it hard to get to Philly evidently. Not only my wife and I, but also another close friend of ours, ended up missing connections for some reason and barely making it here. Bad juju in this area, it seems.
 
I'm really sorry to hear that Gus, I've never had to deal with that kind of tragedy on a personal level but it has happened in my life, a couple years ago a kid came to my school and commuted suicide in the hallway, it's always hard to deal with
