Hi Folks!

With opening this GA, I made 3,333 posts in this great forum. I want to give something back. I spend the most time here in the traditional section and I tortured the folks in here the most. The generosity I got here is just amazing so I think, I should give something back to the whole traditional community. Each of you guys & gals is just great.

Instructions:
I want to keep the GA limited down to the regular posters here in the Traditional section; as it is the intention for this GA.
Everyone can post how often he/she wants and post whatever he/she wants - as long as it is knife related and pics are always welcome ;)
I will ship everywhere all around the world.
It doesn´t matter, if you are a paid member or not.

What can be won? There will be one winner chosen by a random number generator to get my trusty Carl Schlieper (aka Eye Brand Knife) Muskrat made in Solingen. I carried it pretty regularly during last summer and it´s a fine knife.

Farm & Field Tool not included - just for size comparison

I gonna let this GA run a couple of weeks... just for information!

Yeah Andi! Great to see you doing this, generous as always my friend, and that's a very nice choice of knife too :)

Thanks for helping make this area of Bladeforums, the truly special place it is

Thanks for the give away, Andi. I just won one of your give aways and thus I won't be entering this one, but thanks for putting this up.

Thank you for the opportunity with this nice token of appreciation and generosity.

On the topic of knives, as a new enthusiast of traditionals, are there any "one stop shop" sites about the lineage of the different brands of traditional folders? I actually came across a Schlieper on the auction site today and was about to embark on a google search. It just seems like so many brands have such a varied history and such a large number of patterns that it is a daunting task to find all of the pertinent info.

Anyway, thank you again Andi.

Erik

Congratulations on an amazing number of posts! I'd like to be IN on this giveaway, don't have a muskrat pattern knife and that would be a great one. Thank you.

Howdy Andi-what a beautiful knife you are gifting...Carl Schlieper are just fantastic arent they!...
My friend..this is not an entry-I have been gifted very much lately....but I wanted to say that you are a stand-up guy...one of the top blokes here....its great to see you around here!

I'm in, thank you for your generosity. I've noticed you are always very informative and kind in your posts, and would like to thank you for that.

Here is my two week old Mora Classic 2.

And finally, I sanded down the butt and burned in a setting sun-esque design on the top side, so if I ever put it in the sheath backwards (for me anyways), I'll know which side has the edge. I finished it with some paste finishing wax.

Please consider me for this fine giveaway:)

I agree that pictures are always appreciated so I'd like to post one of my recent favorites here, a CASE 1977 #6375 Large red bone Stockman. I back pocket carry next to my wallet and really like this one.

I'm in! Darn fine looking blade. Thank you so much for the chance. Congrats on that many posts. You've been with BF for a long time and it seems like the community know and respects you. I'm just starting to get into the traditional classics so I have no pics to post. I just spent all weekend modding my bk14 so I'll be posting that progression as soon as I get time from work. Thanks again for the chance!
