3,333 post Giveaway - Winner is RobertB.

That's a great knife. Thanks for a chance. I have gleamed a lot of information from this place. Thanks again.

Great giveaway Andi! I've learned quite a bit from your posts, and I thank you for it. This time last year I didn't "get" the Muskrat pattern, then I got one. Since that time I've discovered that I really like the pattern. I've also discovered since then that Schlieper makes a terrific traditional pocket knife!

Please count me in, and here's my favorite Muskrat style knife. Northwoods calls it a "mini-Moose", I still think it's an "improved" Muskrat:

Andi,

I already have the sweet little blue Carl Schlieper from you-- I carried it today in fact!-- so am going to let someone else have the chance at this one.

Thank you for all that you give to this forum by your participation here and your kindness to others.

Great looking knife Andi and a great gesture. I would be happy to try one of your German knives if I win, curious about the muskrat pattern as well. Thanks for all you do here and ill add a pic of one of our favorite patterns, the 66 ;)

Not an entry. Just a big THANK YOU! for all you contribute to the forum.

Thanks Andi. No entry from me though as I've a colony of Rats already, others have bigger need.

Your contributions are admired & appreciated.

Regards, Will

Well, I am not sure how long I would need to be a member to join in on this. I will say that the whole reason I started to get on this forum is because of all the helpful people here. I myself am in love with traditional folders. I tend to be very traditional with most of the things I like. One last thing. I think it is amazing how friendly and close knit everyone on these forums seems to be. It is the only one I have ever found that has its members do awesome things like this. Thanks (hopefully) for this opportunity!

I'm still waiting to get this one in hand on the 30th of this month...

Meanwhile, I'm hanging close to this forum getting my fix of knives beyond those in my grasp!

Great steel I'm sure on that muskrat. It's a pattern I've never encountered except in pics. Thanks for all your excellent posts and pics. Count me in on this one.

Super kind and generous of you here, Andi!. I haven't tried out for a contest for quite some time and I'd like to 'be in' for this one if you please..

I believe that this Traditional BladeForums community is the very finest that exists on the planet and listed on the web today. The folks in here are second to non for taking the good time and trouble to be considerate and kind with they're knowledge, patience and generosity!.

I wish all much Luck and I am honored to take part and to have a stab(pun intended :D ) at having a chance to win such a fine and useful Muskrat pattern from such a revered and respected member!

Best,
Anthony

Guys... all I can say is WOW... thanks to everyone for the kind replies. I´m just a little next to the trail because of all those nice comments.

Thank you much, guys!! :)

Uncle Andi, you're certainly a positive presence here in our corner of the internet. We're all lucky to have you among us. :)

I have yet to experience a knife of that pattern, and have no knives from this maker, so I think I would like to be included!! Honestly I never care if I win, but like to share in the community of these threads, as they often have the best pictures and stories! The generosity across the globe shows how we are all the same inside (red and juicy!!), and that friends can be friends without living near each other. I'm glad to feel part of the community.

I've always had a lame fascination with numbers, so it is interesting that I read your 3 333 thread starting at 11:11:11!!!!

Two of my favorite traditional things- Jew's harps and slipjoints!!
