I received this 3.75" El Patron last week, and while I love it, I think I would prefer the smaller 3.25" version. This El Patron has a 3.75" 3V blade with a thumb stud and milled handles. I received it in used but great condition. It has been sharpened by the previous owner. There is wear on the blade and handle, but the blade is centered and the lockup is solid.
I am looking for a similar configuration in the smaller 3.25" version - 3V blade with milled handles. I don't care if it is new or used as long as it is in at least the same condition mine is as described above. I am fine with either a thumb stud or opening hole. I would prefer an acid stonewashed finish on the blade but wouldn't mind something else. I'd also prefer a convex ground drop point. I might consider a wharncliffe, but I'm definitely not looking for a tanto or any chisel grinds either.
I would be willing to do a straight trade, or I can add some cash depending on the condition of your 3.25" and the configuration. Thanks!
