I'm changing out one of mine, or adding and adding a 4th. These are subject to change.
1. Grayman DUA/SATU - Affordable midtechs that can do anything. Pick small or large. It's not going to win a beauty pageant, but that just makes you want it more.
2. Spyderco Tuff - No other knife has taken a beating like my Tuffs. Not even custom tanks, like the Medford T have brutalized a street sign and shown nothing but scratches. No blade play, chips, or anything but scratching. The 3V held its edge while I repeatedly stabbed through the sign. It sliced paper after a strop.
Stay tuned for the tie between these two:
3. Diskin Flipper - WOW. Wait til these come out. Such an innovative knife that really just looks stunningly simple from afar, yet so beautifully complex from a distance. Flips with authority Andes smooth as butter.
3. FFFerox - with the HRD tuned right, flips faster than any knife I've touched, including the benchmark of flippers. ****ing 4V Blade - what more needs to be said? Lots of belly with a two tone finish - satin flats & stonewashed grind
Perfect for pimping - a blank canvas of Ti. Lets just say that this midtech will be a work of art when I'm done with it.
Anodized handle, possibly only in a few spots like the palm recess and around the entire frame. Timascus backspacer and sculpted clip. We'll see how it turns out.
Pictures to come.
Close, but no Cigar: Bodega v1, Medford Prat T/Ti (definitely HOG Folders), ZT 0300. Wait until after my first Blade show, as I'm sure I'll have many more.
