Another good idea, I'll look into it!If you like the Benchmade Mini Grip, you might consider a Ritter Mini Grip. It brings M390 steel and a HFG blade. You still have the standard plastic handles which some people just don't go for.
An easy fix for the plastic handles is to pick up some aluminum handles from Advanced Weapon Technologies. They regularly sell blems for $50 a set. They really transform the Grip into an entirely new knife.
This kind of exceeds your target budget of $150, but you could grab the Ritter Mini now and pick up a set of AWT scales when they have the color you want available as a blem.
[emoji106] maybe I need to just get like 6 new knives...

Spyderco Manix 2 LW in s110v
The cutting performance is just out of this world!
If your wondering if it is tough enough, let me tell you that the ball bearing lock and the frn handles will never fail you!
Ive put mine through lots of crap and its still perfect lockup!
If you're open to one more suggestion, i would recommend the boker plus urban trapper.
Very lightweight and a very slicy blade.
It is also very high quality.
Overall i think the Manix is the king for your criteria...
The mini 550 is on the radar. Love everything except handles. Wish it was FFG.
I like the bionic, but like stated it is overpriced. Also I have heard mixed reviews on the flipper so I think I'll stay away.
The 940 could be good too but I'm going to try to stay lower than that on the budget.
Thanks [emoji3]
It doesn't have to be a folder. I have a fixed blade that I carry sometimes and would be open to another. Though it would have to be pretty small as I also work with people and you know how they get when a big scary knife is showing [emoji33]Well, you said you had a preference against the usual brands, but they're the usual brands for a reason, and with your criteria I can't help but immediately think of Spydercos like the Sage and the Domino.
This said, if you're going to be cutting tons of cardboard, you might want serrations, or a plain edge in a steel you can sharpen easily. Does it have to be a folder?
Thanks man, appreciate it!Picked up 2 of the aluminum ZT0770s from BladeHQ. They are slightly different from the original ZT0770. They have the upgraded pivot and back spacer from the 0770CF. Dresses up the plain 0770 a bit. I was unaware these changes had been made. They also added some small aggressive gimping to the flipper.
