I think that's why I love his stuff so much...no matter how nice he makes it, how much he pimps it out, it's still a working tool at the end. The other thing is that when you talk to me, he's all about answering your questions...not getting off the phone. He makes it clear he cares about helping you, either with the information or product you're after. Just a nice guy.
 
Dan is certainly one of the nicest dudes I've talked to, and he's also one of the most passionate when it comes to the details that make for an efficient and effective cutting tool.

That being said, I'm gonna close this thread down for now. If there is any update on the 3rd knife, I'll post it up.

Each of these projects will get its own thread.

just got an update from down under;

I have decided to make 3 of em all at the same time.
I have decided to make one of them for an auction of your choice and would like to do it at Blade.

oops, a little confusion perhaps; Keith will be making 3 of the khukuri pattern, as opposed to one of each of the patterns I drew up :)
