top -- 15 inch 1.25 AK by Bura with beautifully crafted "white metal" handle. Excellently done karda and chakma. Scabbard by village sarki is usualy top notch but where he got this yellow leather remains a mystery. Terry Sisco can make a new scabbard for this rig or you might try you hand at dying the leather. It's 10/10 work by both Bura and village sarki. Take it home for $125.

center -- 17.5 inch 22.5 ounce Bura version of what an M43 ought to be. 10/10 work by the Royal Kami. Bura makes the best kardas and chakmas of anybody in the shop and it shows on this rig. Fine scabbard and frog by village sarki. An UBBB at $125 delivered to your door.

bottom -- 21 inch 29 ounce "Movie Model" by Bura inspired by the movie, The Mummy. Excellent work but 2 minutes worth of rust at the tip. Very nice saatisal handle with bone inlay both sides. Matching "Movie" karda and chakma. Same old top quality scabbard by village sarki. Very good buy at $150 delivered.

Call or email.

If the blades look frosty that's because I didn't wipe them off before the pix and the oil, dust and lint are included.

Many thanks to Dan who is on the phone helping me get pix posted. I needed to learn how to do this anyway.

Bill - glad to see it's working ok. Pretty soon now, you'll be an 'ole photo pro. For everyone else - Uncle's now officially an FTP whiz! :D

Roger - you got the right idea, bro. ;)

I get invalid characters for the filenames.

Right click on the image and select properties.

copy/paste that into the browser and substitute all the "%20" with spaces.

That should do it.

Now, if I could only get Uncle to stop putting spaces in the image titles. That may be a tough one. :D

maybe i could sneak in and break the spacebar on Uncle's keyboard....that might do it... :D

Then we'd end up with:

Excellentlydonekardaandchakma.Scabbardbyvillagesarkiisusualytopnotchbutwherehegotthisyellowleatherremainsamystery.

Ok, maybe it's not such a good idea.

Netscape.

pix appear as "broken graphic" icon

Copy image location and paste into new browser window looks like:

http://himalayan-imports.com/uncle/4-16-3 -- 3 winners by Bura.JPG

which generates the following error:

Bad Request

Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.

The request line contained invalid characters following the protocol string.

no "%20" on this end.

some %$#(*&%&*!! though.

Box is older mac--I think maybe Bill's REALLY long file name may be problem?

Amazing Bill's computer didn't choke on it. 3 cheers for old faithful!

Here's another version - for older browser folks.
(just think, Bill, you actually don't have the oldest browser around)

It is printed as: 4-16-3-handle-closeup.JPG
