I look bad in all hats, unfortunately. Helmets, good. Hats, not so good. I suppose I'd probably fit in fine under one of those asian rice paddy farmer hats though.

In my particular area the only people that wear cowboy hats are Hispanic immigrants. I'm not saying that in a way that's meant to be taken degrading at all or offensively, it just seems to be a style that seems to belong to that culture. Either way, different strokes for different folks. It doesn't bother ME what kind of hat anyone wears, nor would I make fun of them for it.

So leave my hats alone! If I ever make it to one of Ethan's gatherings not only am I wearing a flat brim hat I am bringing BH flat brims for everyone in attendance! Haha.
 
Mine had a flat brim when it showed up in the mail. :) It didn't stay that way for too long, though!
 
My son who is 15, will wear only flat brims, and then proceeds to make fun of me when I curl my brim. It's ok though, I just kidney punch him and he shuts right up! :D
 
what amuses me is all the people who replicate Jesse James' lid-curl becuz they think it looks cool, yet they have no clue as to why he wears it like that!

And I don't give crap how anyone wears a hat. It's purpose is to protect the head and shade your face from the sun.
Different strokes for different folks is exactly right.

I think the plural of doofus is ''GB & Murph'' but I aint no English professor.

JJ is a welder/fabricator. Therefore he wears his cap backwards while wearing a welding helmet. And when a flatbrim is backwards it jabs u in the nape of the neck when turning and twisting ur head while working...so he started bending the brim up in that ''signature'' look. It is a practical solution, not a style statement LOL

I know a bunch of guys who were doing that same thing for the same reason way before JJ was famous. Anyway, I digress....back to the free stuff.
