What model would you like to see come out next?

Explain your answer and show your work.

Winner might be Random, or they might be chosen, only I will know the answer to that.

I would love to see the 6 come back....if the rumors are true, I may be a happy dude... This is one that I have wanted since I first played with one about a year ago...it left a great impression..damn sure cant find one though for less than a premium Price...

Also, a brand new model would be awesome...i know we have alot of our bases covered with what we already have, but anything new would be great...

Thanks for the chance

Id like a knife with a 3.25 to 3.5 inch blade with handles like the bk11 or 14 but with a different style of blade (ie. clip point, wharncliffe, spear point). Id want that because I dont really llike drop points and want a little more stabbing ability. A bk axe or hawk would be pretty cool as well.

I know one answer would probably be best but eh, so hard to choose...

BK-1 Brute. Very unique blade and more competition for the 4 and 9. I cant really explain why, I just want one.

BK-10, another unique para-military looking blade.

Or the purely fictional 7" BK-9 ;)

Show your work? Uh...ok?

I have a few. Hope that's okay. I think a Nessmuk short would be kind of cool. Kind of round out the whole short experience:

Hunter recurve would be cool as well:

I think the drop point 9 would be awesome as well. Chopping ability of the 9, with the tip strength of a drop point:

Also, the clipped 2. Because it's cool, and I own one. I wish others could get a chance to check one out:

What I'd really like to see is a Becker made primative hawk head / knife thingy. The EcoHawk is kind of what I'm thinking only rather than a spike on the one end, I'd like to see something a bit more hammer like. Used as is (with no handle) it could make a cool Ulu like knife, or add a split stick and some paracord and it's hawk time.

Something a little like this one...

... only instead of using a traditional eye through which a handle slips, leave it as a solid bit of steel around which a split stave could be secured via paracord wrap.

That or the patrol machete.

It's already been announced, but I'm itching to get my hands on the Becker ESEE kitchen knives.

Show my work? How about smoke roasted pears? Cooking great food and great looking good for friends and family is one of my favorite things to do.

Oh, and more food like this will be prepared with knives that don't drive me nuts! Ribeye, Roasted Asparagus, Sweet Potato, and button mushrooms:

I think something like a clipped 11/14 would be cool, another idea I have would be bringing back some of the old boys, BK1, BK6 (BK1 and BK6 were already hinted at a return, but just in case), BK-R Kukri, and some new buddies, that 18 you hinted at a while ago sounded interesting, with or without details.

Maybe the Machax Warrior, I liked the swedge on that (pictures anyhow).

A flared pommel would be somewhat interesting, just to see how it would change the scales if for no other reason, right now I'm imagining the lanyard hole being half scale, half metal.

My work? All I've done so far is sand coating off both Helga (BK2) and Becca (BK16), and broken Helga's left scale, but here's the most recent pictures I have of both my babies:
Pictures to come, photobucket locked up on me....

Well, Ethan has so many great designs and sizes of blades, but what he doesn't have have is a Becker folder! It was suggested with the 2, but how about a BK-16f?

ALSO!
I would like to see a non-hook version of the BK-3. The hook is the only reason I haven't bought it yet. It's a thick piece of steel and that one point is the obvious weak spot.

I would love to see a .220-.250 thick BK-9. Weight dosnt bother me, and I think it would be a great "limited" addition to the becker lineup.

BK-6 Patrol Machete.

It's one bad ass blade. I can't explain my answer any better than that.
I would love to see Ka-bar put it into production.

Just look at it!! Mmm...mmm...mmm. My oh my.

It's gotta be the Brute for me! I think it would be a great answer to the Junglas to have in the regular production line-up and would be have both the advantages of being an awesome chopper (like the Machax) but would be a little easier to sharpen (unlike the Machax). Brute! Brute! Brute!!!!

If they don't release a Brute soon they better release the BK-Pitchfork!

I would have to go with the Brute! I'm sure it would be a chopping beast, and like what some others said it would be the perfect answer to the ESEE Junglas, it might even out chop it if Ethan and Toooj work on fixing the grinds. I wouldn't mind seeing a new BK6 either...

Thanks for the chance,

Alrighty, here's mine.

first, I drew up a Short with a spear point blade.

I mean, we have a drop point, a clip point, and an awesome trailing point. But what are we missing? a spear point.

So, here is a spear point.

Here it is next to my 16. The blade of the spear is a jolly good bit shorter, with a 4 inch blade, but the same everything else as the 16.

Next up is my "UK EDC." not sure if it's legal in the UK, but it sounds cool.

It's the same handle and blade length as the 11, but with a different blade shape, kinda like a sheepsfoot.

and a blade shape comparison.

thanks for this contest Moose. Y'all are awesome.

A Brute with a foot long blade, more than a match for production choppers, and sneaking in to the machete realm.

Of the existing models, the one I'd like to see is definitely the Patrol Machete.

The much loved Machax is actually a little smaller than I'd always imagined it, but the Patrol Machete fixes that for sure. I love my BK9, but man that BK6 looks like it could really do some work.

I got two. The reintroduction of the Reinhardt kuk, but in .187. And a thick machax. I mean .22 would be the shizzznit.

I have to agree with the bleach snorter here. I'd like to see the RBK come back a little thicker.

My vote goes with the BK6. I've always been partial to machetes, but the BK6 with its 14" blade and .188" thickness sounds like a beast. I cannot imagine a task (that one would use a machete for) that it could not do. It would replace my FBF 14'er on the side of my pack fo' sho'!

If I had a second vote, it would be for the BK1. I've never felt the need for a 9", thick bladed chopper, but the Brute has always appealed to me. It just might be the blade that can convert me. Besides, with well over one pound of steel, what couldn't it do?
