$350 with a liner lock?

Ooh, another Linzertorte incoming it looks like!

I made some almond cream and pastry cream yesterday so I could make frangipane today for this (overcooked the shell a bit unfortunately - still getting my timing down on this kind of stuff).

Damn good looking pear tarte!

This is pre-baking, the after got demolished...

And are $350+ buttonlocks OK?

And before the torte, a bit of A5 :)

I wouldn’t pay $350+ for some knives if they had anything but a liner lock…or at least a well hidden frame lock…

I was going to say that the trend of bolster locks and overlaid/inlaid framelocks has made this a very odd question. How much "scale" does there need to be before a framelock becomes a liner lock? If the piece that includes the lock also serves as the backspacer, is that a framelock no matter whether it's covered or not?

Anyway, OP, try out a TRM Atom or Neutron with the titanium scales if you want a very high-quality linerlock experience.
