Skunk,
I will be driving right past the Troutdale Airport Saturday Morning. I have room for a couple more or if you wanted to rent a car I could give you a lift up to the site from the EOC.

thanks, i don't think i can make this one but i would like to make the next. sounds like fun. i would probably fly into troutdale and hitch a ride or rent a halftrack.
That's quite the defeatest attitude you've got going there... (Just kidding, of course!)
Does this mean you won't be making it to the Walking Man Brewery tonight either ?!! (Still kidding here...)
James--I am sure you could hitch a ride from one of us in Stevenson if you were already there for the parade.
Skunk--As Dunner mentioned, if you could make it to the Troutdale airport, Mike or myself could pick you up very easily. It's not too late--you still have 17 hours to get there!
And here I sit... Home from the Wildlanf Fire.. (It was out Eastern WA by the Hanford Nuclear Waste SIte) Not enough time to go to Stevenson, too much time to think about all the fun I'm missing...
I could not stay the night and just got back from the Rat Mischief. I think we had 12 people there and got 72 knives on the logs in the dark in the RAIN. 8 of those there are SAR people and spent the day rescueing a fisherman who fell and broke a bunch of ribs and could not walk out. The SAR guys got there about 6-7 pm. We took lots of pictures and a great time was being had by all. It was great to meet some great guys. On Friday night Paddling Man showed up at the local brewery. We had a great time looking at Dunner's and Troy's knives. I am sure others will soon post pictures. Mine are ok but not great. I think this could be the start of a great tradition. Watching Troy (360jules) baton an AK through log after log with the look of shear pleasure on his face was inspiring. I am sure they are going to have great fun tomorrow.
